A WORD FOR TODAY 06 JAN 2019

Today we Celebrate the Solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord. It simply means the manifestation of God's glory in Christ to the world.

  Jesus is revealed to us as the light of the world and the star that will lead us to God. We must seek out this light always and let the star of the the Lord our Lord Jesus Christ lead us in the path that will bring us to God.

  The birth of Jesus changed a lot of things in the world. He brougth light into a world full of darkness and confusion and He gave His life in order to save the world.

  As Isaiah the prophet said in the first reading, we must Arise and shine in Christ who is our light and His glory will rise upon us. We must let Him lead us everyday like the star that led the wise men from the East so that we will fulfill our purpose in life.

  Jesus is the glory of the Father and if we let Him reign in us we will have His glory in us and we will shine out also as the light of the world. The best gift we can give to Him is the gift our heart and once it remains submissive to Him we will worship and praise His name forever.

 _*If we stay with Jesus and let His light shine upon us we will never walk in darkness and we will bring His light to a world that is seriously in need of His touch and help.*_

  When we let Jesus be the star that leads us, we will defintely arrive our destination which will always be in accordance with the will of the Father.
