*A WORD FOR TODAY*

*CALL UPON THE LORD WITH FAITH*

_"For a while he refused; but afterward he said to himself, Though I neither fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow bothers me, I will vindicate her, or she will wear me out by her continual coming."(Luke 18:4-5)_

_*How many times you pray does not really matter, but how well you pray does. Most times we pray a lot, but only a few times we pray well in such a way that our voice is heard and our petitions are granted.*_

_Prayer is not just a way of reaching to God, but more importantly it should be our way of life. If we love God, we must pray to Him always. First to praise Him for His goodness and then to ask Him for our needs._

_*When we pray, we must make sure that we have faith enough to make our prayers to be heard by God and we must also be persistent like the widow in the gospel reading. He worried the king until she got what she wanted.*_

_Through prayer we must let the Lord know what we need. We must not give up at the first attempt, we must keep knocking at His door with our cry until He answers us._

_*God answers prayers and speedily too, but He does it in His own way, therefore when you pray and you are yet to receive, do not give up, but remain still in God's presence and keep reminding Him that you are there and He will vindicate you.*_

_Do not just ask for asking sake, but pray from your heart and let faith be in you and God will turn His face to you and grant your request. There is power in prayer and if you can pray and pray well, you will always have the Lord let His face shine upon you._

_*Good morning dearest one. Smile😊as you do your work and do have a bleesed day. May your prayers be acceptable in the sight of God. Amen. And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.*_

*Meditation:* Wisdom 18:14-16;19:6-9/Psalm 105:2-3,36-37,42-43/Luke 18:1-8

*Watch-Word:* When the Son of man comes, will He find faith on earth.

_*Pray with faith and persistence and God will answer you.*_
