A WORD FOR TODAY

Our Lord Jesus Christ appeared in other to destroy the works of the devil. As the Scripture noted in John 10:10 "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly"

Jesus Christ, filled with the Holy Spirit and power went about everywhere doing good. (Acts 10:38) Healing the sick, setting the captives free, raising the dead. He taught the people with authority and they marvelled at what He could do.

The unclean Spirit recognised Him as the Holy One of God and trembled at His presence. What about you? Who is Jesus for you? Why do you fear the devil more than Christ. If truly Jesus is the Lord of your life, then the devil should fear you and always recognise and be submissive to the power and the presence of Jesus operational in you.

Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, therefore we should strive to be close to Him so that His glory will radiate in us and through us to the whole world. We should let the world feel the power of His presence through our words and actions.

We shall go out to witness for Christ. we shall tell the world about Him and we will draw more souls into God's Kingdom. The power of God will work in the lives of those who totally surrender their lives to Christ.
