A WORD FOR TODAY

TURN TO THE LORD AND BE SAVED

_"And he answered them, “Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have good news preached to them."(Luke 7:22)_

_*In the first reading of today the Lord revealed Himself through the prophet Isaiah. He said, I am the Lord and there is no other and to me every knee shall bow and every tongue shall swear. He formed the earth and made it inhabitable and He is the righteous God and saviour.*_

_Our Lord who will be born at Christmas is the greatest and He is the one who will save us and give us eternal life. He has all we need to be happy in this life and in the world to come. All we need is to put our trust in Him and prepare well so as to welcome Him when He comes._

_*He is coming to bless us, restore our joy, bring us healing and liberation from captivity, and make us to become vessels of honour in His name.*_

_John the Baptist made effort to know Him and when He sent his disciples to go and ask if He was the one to come or should they look for another, He told them to go and tell John what they have seen and heard, the blind receive their sight, the lame work, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life and the poor have good news preached to them. This is the mission of Christ and anyone who comes to Him believing shall definitely receive._

_*Turn to the Lord today and be saved. He will do for you what will bring you joy and make you happy. He holds the key to our blessings and anyone who comes to Him will never be disappointed.*_

_Good morning dearest one. Smile😊as you do your work and do have a splendid day. May Jesus show His face to you when you call upon Him. Amen. *And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.*_

*Meditation:* Isaiah 45:6-8,18, 21-25/psalm 85:9-14/Luke 7:19-23

*Watch-Word:* I am the Lord, and there is no other.

*Turn to the Lord today and He will help you overcome the challenges that is before you. From Him will our help come.*
