A WORD FOR TODAY

The story of Cain and Abel is one that teaches us how the sin of selfishness, jealousy and anger can destroy us if we do not control our temper.

Cain was stingy with his gifts to the Lord, while Abel was generous and his gifts was accepted by the Lord and that of Cain was rejected. This made Cain to get angry and he killed Abel.

We should always strive to be one another's keeper and remove every element of jealousy in our heart that will make us to lose control of our temper and begin to think of killing our brother or sister in order for us to make them get out of the way for us.

God will accept us if we do what pleases Him, but if we, out of our selfishness begin to do the things He does not want, He will definitely reject us.

The world is enough to contain all of us and God can make use of us if we allow Him. There is no need to fight each other and try to kill one another, just do your part well and let the other person do his or her part well and we will make the world a better place.

Good morning dearest one. Smile😊as you do your work and do have a wonderful day and new week ahead. May God help you to control your temper and accept others when they are doing better than you. Amen. And May the Almighty God Bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
