A WORD FOR TODAY

GLORIFY THE LORD WITH YOUR LIFE

_"I glorified thee on earth, having accomplished the work which thou gavest me to do; and now, Father, glorify thou me in thy own presence with the glory which I had with thee before the world was made."(John 17:4-5)_

_*It is very important in life for us to know and understand that God has created us for a purpose and it is for us to live for Him, serve Him well here on earth so as to be able to live with Him in heaven.*_

_When you are chosen to represent someone, you are bound to do it well if you are going to receive any commendation from the person. In the case of our Lord Jesus Christ, He came from the Father and when His work and mission was finished He returned to the Father and was rewarded._

_*In the first reading of today St. Paul gave a farewell speech to the Church in Ephesus. He reminded them of all he has done in the name of Christ and encouraged them to remain steadfast. He was going to Jerusalem and suffering and persecution awaits him, but he is not deterred, but remained focused to glorify the Lord with his life. He fought the good fight to the end and he was rewarded with eternal life.*_

_Jesus did the will of the Father while He was here in earth, He glorified the Father and today He prayed that the Father should glorify Him. There is always a great reward for those who have done well to distinguish themselves in their various fields of endeavour. In the spiritual journey of life, if we glorify the Lord in words and deeds, we are bound to receive an eternal reward from God who blesses those who have done well to glorify Him with their lives here on earth._

_*All you need to do in order to be glorified by God in the end is to begin to make use of the opportunity you have now to glorify His name. This is possible in your work place, home, business, Church, School and so on. We must glorify the Lord with what we do and say if we intend to be glorified by the Lord and be rewarded at the end of our earthly existence.*_

_We cannot live a good and examplary life without the help of the Holy Spirit. We need the Holy Spirit to guide us in the right path of life so as to please the Lord with what we do. We must welcome Him into our hearts and allow Him to radiate His glory and power through us at all times and in all places._

_*Good morning dearest one. Smile😊as you do your work and do have a beautiful day. May the Lord give you the grace to glorify Him with what you do. Amen. *And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.*_

*Meditation:* Acts 20:17-27/Psalm 68:10-11,20-21/John 17:1-11

*Watch-Word:* Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you.

*Use your time here on earth to glorify the Lord and you will find abundance of reward from the Lord in the end.*
