A WORD FOR TODAY
God is God and He does not behave like us. He speaks to us and if we hearken to His voice and do what He wants, we will surely be blessed, He gives us opportunity from time to time to do what is right and turn away from evil. If we do as He has laid down for us, we will bring glory to His name and peace to our soul.
God is patient, God is kind and God is merciful. He gives us opportunity to make amends, turn around and become better. He does not destroy us even when we have gone astray, but continues to call us to repentance. and if we hear His voice and change, we will become better and live happily in His presence.
God has sown good seeds in us, but if we do not guard our heart, the evil one can sow evil seeds that can make us become evil. Our responsibility as children of God is to always be at alert and make the choices that will help us to continue to be wheat of God and not the weed of the enemy.
Judgement belongs to God and we must continue to work hard and pray that many souls will be saved so that we all may enter into eternal life. We must not be quick to condemn people, but try to be patient like God and give them opportunity to repent. Judgement will definitely come, but it will come at God's own time.
We must let judgement be for God, because He alone can see all about us and knows how we will end. Our effort should be put into striving everyday to live a good life and contribute to the good of our world. We should also try to help people to become good.
Good morning dearest one. Smile😊 as you do your work and do have a wonderful weekend. May Jesus help you to remain steadfast until the end of time. Amen. And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Meditation: Exodus 24:3-8/Psalm 50:1-2,5-6,14-15/Matthew 13:24-30
Watch-Word: Let both grow together until the harvest.
God has given us time to strive to be good. Therefore, make the choices that will help you to be good always and you will be happy in the end. Wheat or weed, what you become will depend on the choice you make and who and what influences you.
