The prophet Isaiah tells us in the first reading of today that the eyes of the blind shall see, the meek will obtain fresh joy in the Lord and the poor among men shall exult in the Lord. These are words of the Lord from the prophet that simply shows what the healing power of God can do through the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

To heal is to become healthy or well again after suffering from an illness or undesirable conditions. We have both the physical and spiritual healing and it is something that God can give to those who ask Him with faith. The blind men in the gospel reading of today recognised in Jesus the one who can help them to be healed and they did not waste anytime to cry out to Him.

When we are physically sick we go to the doctor whom the Lord has given the power to treat us, but in the end, it is God who heals through them. The same happens when we are spiritually sick or wounded by sin, we must also come to the Lord to ask for mercy and He will heal us. However, we cannot go to the doctor without some kind of hope. We must believe that what the doctor gives to us by way of medication will work and that will mark the beginning of our healing.

To be spiritually sick is to be in darkness. When the power of sin seems to be controlling you and you do not know how to set yourself free from its grip. You must cry out to Jesus and persistently too. You must draw His attention to yourself helpless and deplorable state, so that He can restore the interior light of your soul and heal you from the wounds of sin. You can find Jesus when you sincerely and in all honesty utilise the sacrament of reconciliation, because He is always waiting for us at the confessional. Go, see and talk to Him today and you will definitely find the healing, peace, joy and salvation you crave for.

Healing, both physical and spiritual is possible through faith in God. Therefore, if you are sick, go and see the doctor, but pray that God will heal you through his hands and help him to be an instrument and channel of help for you. Faith makes miracle to happen and anyone who comes to Jesus with it will never go empty handed.

Jesus is coming and He will bring His light into the world to dispel our darkness We must purify our heart and soul and keep our home clean so that when He comes, He will shine in us and through us help others to come to the light of salvation.

No matter the health challenge or affliction you are passing through at the moment, no matter how long you have been in that condition, no matter how many times you have fallen into sin and darkness, just make a decision today to call upon Jesus with faith like the blind men did and your miracle of healing shall happen. They did not call for calling sake, they called from their heart and with faith because they knew that they needed help and only Jesus can help them. They knew what they wanted and when Jesus asked them if they believed that He can restore their sight, they said yes and their eyes were opened. Call upon the Lord with faith and let His will be done upon your life.

Good morning dearest one. Smile😊as you do your work and do have a joyful day. May God's power come down upon you and heal you from every physical and spiritual sickness you may have at the moment. Amen. And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
