A WORD FOR TODAY

COME TO JESUS, WAIT UPON HIM AND RENEW YOUR STRENGTH

_"but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."(Isaiah 40:31)_

_*Life's journey sometimes is very challenging and difficult and for you to go through it and come out victorious you must be disciplined and determined. You must have thd attitude of forward ever and backward never in you.*_

_We could get tired and exhausted along the way, we could be weighed down by the challenges of life, however, if we fail to anchor in God we may never make it to the finishing line._

_*The prophet Isaiah in the first reading reminds the people of Israel to wait upon the Lord so that their strength will be renewed. They felt that the Lord has abandoned them in exile, but the prophet gave them hope that God is for them and not against them and He will help them and bring them back to their land.*_

_What is your own story presently? Are you weary and heavy hearted? Is the burden you bear so heavy for you that you cannot move anymore? Are you tired and exhausted and feeling like giving up?. This is the time to turn to God. He is available and will be found by those who seek Him with their heart._

_*Jesus has given us the invitation to come to Him in the gospel reading of today and He will help us. Therefore, make sure you come to Him and you will find rest for your soul. We must learn from Him to be gentle and humble in heart. He will give us rest and in Him our energy and strength to do good in this life will be renewed.*_

_Good morning dearest one. Smile😊as you do your work and do have a beautiful day. May God's grace help you to draw closer to Him and find the strength you need. Amen. *And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.*_

*Meditation:* Isaiah 40:25-31/Psalm 103:1-4,8,10/Matthew 11:28-30

*Watch-Word:* Come to me all you who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.

*Jesus is inviting you to come and renew your strength, never let anything stop you from getting to where He is.*
