A WORD FOR TODAY 9 MARCH 2019

A WORD FOR TODAY

God is Calling us to return to Him because He loves us and does not want us to perish in our sins and iniquities. The role we need to play is to accept that we have sinned and then make effort to return to Him._

Jesus came to call the sinners and not the righteous. When He called Levi, he left everything and followed Him and even invited Him into his house. This is a very significant step to take, because if we fail to open our hearts to Christ and let Him come into us, we will never find mercy and healing.

This is a season when you tell yourself the truth and accept that you have not done well, then make sincere and honest effort to seek the face of God and make amends. God does not want us to die in our sins, but to repent of them and live._

The lifestyle of Levi was not pleasing to the Lord and when Jesus called Him, he left his old way of life and accepted the new life in Christ. We must learn from him to always leave our old ways of life behind and follow Jesus who will make us to become His apostles.*_ _We must be ready to let others know about Jesus who has transformed us. We must let Him come and dine with us by opening the door of our hearts to Him.

We are all broken in one way or the other and we need God's healing. All we need to do is to hear His voice, respond to His invitation and follow Him and we shall be healed. Wait no more! rise up from where you have fallen and come to Jesus, He will heal you and make you become a channel through which other people will come to find Him.

Good morning dearest one. Smile😊 as you do your work and do have a fantastic weekend. May God's mercy and compassion save you from eternal damnation. Amen. *And May the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

*Meditation:* Isaiah 58:9-14/Psalm 86:1-6/Luke 5:27-32

*Watch-Word:* I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. _

To return to the Lord is a choice we have to make, because only in Him can we find forgiveness and the grace to start afresh.
