A WORD FOR TODAY 03 JAN 2019

  It is something special to be called a child of God and this is a status we have acquired by virtue of our baptism in the name of the most Blessed Trinity.

 We are God's children not just in name but more in our action. We must strive everyday to seek perfection and as such we will be like Him who have called us to follow Him.

 In Jesus we have the one who came and gave His life as a ransom for us and He is the lamb who takes away the sins if the world. It is our duty to witness for Him and make others to come to know Him as John the Baptist pointed Him out in the gospel reading of today._

 God has made us His children and if we claim to be, we must be ready to represent Him not by doing evil but by living a good and righteous life.

 Jesus whom we have come to witness for came to take away our sins and bring us salvation. We must be ready to come to Him if we fall into sin and we will be purified. However, it should be our responsibility to try to work hard everyday to live a holy life so that we will be worthy to enter into eternal life.

 Good morning dearest one. Smiie😊 as you do your work and may God help you to live a good life and witness for Him with your life and word. Amen. And May the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
