A WORD FOR TODAY 11 SEPTEMBER 2021

A WORD FOR TODAY

STAY CLOSE TO JESUS AND YOU WILL BEAR THE RIGHT FRUITS

_"for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thorns, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush. The good man out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil man out of his evil treasure produces evil; for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks."(Luke 6:44-45)_

_*The saying that one cannot give what he does not have is very true when it comes to living out our Christian life. If we truly profess Christ, we must live in a certain way different from the world's style and people who encounter us will be able to see that our life is truly Christ-like.*_

_If we intend to bear the fruits that will last in this life, we must love Jesus with all our heart and stay close to Him always. We must let Him come into our heart and dwell with us. We must strive to hearken to His commands and that will give us a firm base to continue to represent Him well here on earth._

_*If we are connected to Jesus in truth and Spirit, we are bound to bear good fruits. This is very true because Jesus is goodness Himself and to be attached to Him is to receive the the grace and power to grow and radiate in goodness wherever you are.*_

_We must make effort everyday to keep our heart pure, so that when we speak, what will proceed from our mouth will be holy and edifying. If we fill our hearts with dirt of all sorts, we are bound to produce bad fruits by way of our actions._

_*We need to be doers of the word and not hearers alone. To do what the Lord tells us, will make us to be like a man who builds his house upon solid rock and no matter the turbulence or storm that hits it, it will remain unshaken. If we fill our hearts with good things, we shall bear good fruits from its treasures.*_

_Now is the time to begin to work on yourself. Remove the bad seeds in you and fill your heart with good thoughts and bear good fruits. You cannot give what you do not have, therefore, if you work on yourself today and fill your heart with good things, you will be ready to bear good fruits that will bring you good rewards in the end. This can only happen if we stay close to Jesus, learn from Him and let Him guide us in the path of righteousness._

_*Good morning dearest one. Smile😊 as you do your work and do have a beautiful weekend. May Jesus give you the grace to seek goodness always and to bear good fruits. Amen. And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.*_

*Meditation:* 1 Timothy 1:15-17/Psalm 113:1-7/Luke 6:43-49

*Watch-Word:* If a man loves me, he will keep my word

*Fill your heart with good things and you will bear righteous fruits for God*
