A WORD FOR TODAY

FEAR NOT, I AM WITH YOU, SAYS THE LORD, AND I WILL HELP YOU.

He who has God on His side will have no need to be afraid, because God is the greatest and He can do all things. The word of God from the prophecy of Isaiah today is one that teaches us not to be afraid, because the Lord will be by our side to hold our right hand and help us in our times of need and difficulties.

It is a known fact that we do not know what challenges life will throw at us. We experience different levels of discomforts and sometimes we are attacked by those who do not like our way of life or style of doing things. The persecution could become severe and it could get to the point where we will make the decision to give up, but God's word is telling us today to never give up and not be afraid of those who persecute us because He will help us and He will make provisions for us in our times of need.

Fear does not add anything good to your system, instead it makes you lose blessings. It makes you to panic, worry and fill your heart with anxiety. It makes you to hand over the power of control of your life over to someone else other than God and the person could now determine when you should be happy or sad. Fear weakens your will power to fight the good fight of faith and to serve God with your heart in truth and spirit. In fact to be afraid is to make yourself spiritually weak and in your weakness you can lose a lot of blessings.

We must be prepared to hold unto God with faith because He will always be there for us in good times and in difficult moments. He does not abandon those who put their trust in Him, instead He speaks for them, fights for them and win victory for them. The lord is compassionate and merciful and anyone who walks with Him will never be led astray.

What is making you to be afraid? Are you facing persecution? Are things difficult for you and you do not know what to do any more? Are you in lack or need of anything? Hear the word of God today and be joyful for the Lord has remembered you as He remembered His people of old. He says, "Fear not, my son, my daughter, I will help you" Believe in this word and everything will be ok, because God does not make a promise He cannot keep.

The kingdom of God will be for those who made sincere and persevering effort to enter into it. We will face persecution definitely, but we must never give up at any point in time, because it will pass. We could be in lack, but God will provide and supply for our needs. He will not forsake us, but He will make a way for us where there seems to be no way. All that is needed from us is to put our trust in Him and never be afraid, because He is our Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. We must keep doing good and moving forward, never leave God for a lesser god, but stand by Him and He will stand by you always.

No matter what you are passing through at this moment in your life, never abandon God and do not give up, only be courageous and hold unto Him with faith and the Lord will come to your aid. He is our sure helper in our times of need. Fear no more, weep no more and lament no more, because you have a God who is more than able to deliver you. Come to Him in prayers and you will find the help you need.

Do not afraid, because fear can add nothing positive to your life, but cripples your ability to rise above the obstacle standing before you.
