*A WORD FOR TODAY*

*SPEND QUALITY TIME WITH JESUS*

_"So the woman left her water jar, and went away into the city, and said to the people, Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ? They went out of the city and were coming to him."(John 4:28-30)_

*A SPECIAL ENCOUNTER*

_*The gospel reading of todat presents us with the story of the encounter the Samaritan woman had with Jesus at the well. The experience transformed her and she became a witness for Christ.*_

*DIALOGUE WITH JESUS*

_Jesus engaged the woman in a discussion that made her to pour out her heart to Him, but more importantly gave her an opportunity to quench the thirst of her soul by drinking from the spring of life who is Christ._

*BE HONEST WITH JESUS*

_*A moment with Jesus changes our lives forever if we open our heart and let Him come in and dwell in us. The woman was honest to Jesus and Jesus touched the depth of her heart and she never remained the same again.*_

*FOLLOW THOSE WHO ADD VALUE TO YOUR LIFE*

_Most times in life we spend our time with people who do not add any value to us, we spend our time with people who make us get exhausted and become empty. Instead of making us grow in the knowledge of God they bring us down and make us drift far away from God._

*A TIME SPENT WITH JESUS IS THE BEST*

_*When you spend quality time with Jesus in prayer, your soul will be fed and nourished by His word and presence and the thirst of your heart will be quenched and satisfied. It is a meeting that will always be beneficial to anyone who participates in it.*_

*YOU WILL KNOW RHE TRUTH*

_A good time spent with Jesus helps you to know the truth about yourself and then make the resolution to begin anew in the journey of being the best you can be for Him._

*JESUS IS THE FOUNTAIN OF LIFE*

_*Jesus is the fountain of life and the living spring, anyone who drinks from Him will never be thirsty again. We must draw closer to Him and patiently wait on Him. We must not be like the people of Israel who lost their cool in the desert and murmured against Moses.*_

*ENCOUNTER JESUS, BECOME A DISCIPLE*

_An encounter with Jesus prepares us to become a witness for Him. When you are nourished by Christ who is the light, you will have no other choice but to go out and tell people what the Lord has done for you and then win them over to the Lord. Now is the time to come and meet with Jesus who will save you and bring you back._

*JESUS WILL GIVE YOU A VOICE*

_*Jesus gave this woman a voice and removed Shame from her. A Jewish Rabbi is not supposed to speak with a woman, but Jesus broke down that barrier, He spoke with her and gave her the strength to face her inner struggles and come up with the resolution never to run again but to be a true disciple. We must rise from our encounter with Jesus to go and share with others and win them over to the Lord.*_

_Good morning dearest one. Smile😊as you begin your day and do have a beautiful Sunday, may God give you the grace to draw closer to Him, hear His voice and follow His way without reservation. *And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.*_

*Watch-Word:* O that today you would listen to his voice! Harden not your heart.

*A quality time spent with Jesus is most beneficial than anytime spent elsewhere.*
