*A WORD FOR TODAY
*SHOW SOME LOVE TO OTHERS FROM WHAT YOU POSSESS
_"Thus Joseph who was surnamed by the apostles Barnabas (which means, Son of encouragement), a Levite, a native of Cyprus, sold a field which belonged to him, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet" (Acts 4:36-37)_
_*One of the things we will be judged with on the last day is how well we made use of what we possessed here on earth to bring joy and happiness to others. Having enough to satisfy our needs is not a problem, but being generous to share with others is actually what makes us Christian.*_
_The communual life that the Christians lived after the resurrection of Christ is something that is worth emulating and will be the best cure to the problem of selfishness and stinginess destroying our world. Both vices will make you to have more than you need and still be unwilling to share with others who do not have._
_*It may not necessarily be possible for us to live together as they did in those days, but we are connected in different ways and there are many channels through which we could make impacts in people's lives through what we possess.*_
_All we need is to have the desire to live a new life and be born of the Spirit as Nicodemus was told in the gospel reading by our Lord Jesus Christ. This will help us to live like Christ, love like Him and be compassionate to others like Him._
_*Jesus shared Himself with us out of love and if we love Him and truly belong to Him, we must be ready to share with others the blessings He has given to us. It will amount to wickedness when we fail to share with others what we have out of selfishness and stinginess. We must be of one heart and one mind and make sure that no one around us suffers, because of our selfishness.*_
_Be compassionate, be kind, be generous, be good. Share with others from what you have and God will give you more to continue to do good in this life. You can never be poor by helping others, because God will also help you in your times of need. We should always be conscious of the fact that we came into this world with nothing and we shall leave with nothing, the best we can do is to use our gifts and possessions to be a blessing to others and in the end, heavens doors shall be opened to us._
_*Good morning dearest one. Smile😊as you do your work and do have a wonderful day. May Jesus move your heart to always do good to others and help them to find joy in this life. Amen. And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.*_
*Meditation:* Acts 4:32-37/Psalm 93:1-2,5/John 3:7-15
*Watch-Word:* The Lord is king, with majesty enrobed.
*you are not rich in the eyes of the Lord, until you have used what you have to help the poor and thd needy around you.*
