A WORD FOR TODAY 14 JULY, 2022

*A WORD FOR TODAY*

*COME TO JESUS AND YOU WILL FIND THE REST YOU NEED*

_"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."(Matthew 11:28-29)_

_*One thing we learn about God is that He is compassionate and considerate and He is always doing what will benefit those who put their trust in Him.*_

_The consoling words of Jesus in the gospel reading of today is something we must hold unto at all times. He tells us to come to Him with our loads and worries and He will give us rest._

_*We pass through a lot in this life. We go through various challenges which sometimes become so burdensome on our shoulders and they tend to wound and break us down. However, we must look up to God for our help and strength.*_

_This invitation is free and it is from a good and caring God to His children. If you hearken to His voice you will benefit from the blessings that comes from it. But if you choose not to follow Him, you will bear your burden alone and it can break you apart._

_*Come to Jesus today with your burden, pour out your heart to Him, cast your worries and anxieties to Him and be rest assured that He will deliver you and come to your aid in your times of trouble.*_

_Now is the time to rise and come to Jesus. Drop all your worries at his feet, all your pain and sorrow, weakness and failure, all your agony and disappointments, no matter what has caused you trouble, bring it to Jesus and He will give you rest._

_*Whatever may have broken you apart, sin or challenges of life, you have a friend in Jesus who will help you get refreshed and renew your strength. We must keep drawing closer to Him and keep going until we reach our destination in heaven.*_

_Good morning dearest one. Smile😊as you do your work and do have a lovely day. May Jesus give you the strength to keep going when the going gets tough. Amen. *And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.*_

*Come to Jesus today and He will help you. No matter how difficult it is, He will make a way for you.*
