A WORD FOR TODAY 15 MARCH 2021

*A WORD FOR TODAY*

ASK WITH FAITH AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE

_"When he heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went and begged him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death."(John 4:47)_

_*It is always important to pray and seek the face of God in our times of need. However, in coming to ask for God's help, we must come with faith and total trust so that He will be able to help us.*_

_The story in the gospel reading is one that encourages and inspires faith in any true believer that God is ready to answer us if we pray to Him with faith and believe in His Word. The Centurion approached Jesus pleading for help and when Jesus gave him the words that his son will live he did not doubt, but believed strongly and it came to pass that his son was healed._

_*Approaching the presence of God in prayer without faith is like going to farm without your implements. You will achieve little or nothing, but if you have all the working tools you need, it will make your work much easier and you will achieve so much.*_

_It is not the amount of words we use in prayer that matters, but the faith we have in God who answers prayers. If we shall receive blessings from God and help in our times of difficulty, we must put our trust in Him and believe in His words._

_*What is your need presently? Is it at the critical moment? Are you feeling downcast? Is it sickness, family challenge, disappointments, failure in business and in achieving your set goals, are you facing attacks from co-workers and so on. No matter what your needs are, just put your trust in the Lord, call upon Him with faith and then believe His words and your help must surely come from Him.*_

_This season is a time to grow in our prayer life, but more importantly we should grow our faith in God and in His words, so that when we call upon Him, He will surely answer us and help us. Miracles happen where there is faith and if our faith can call upon the Lord, then we must surely receive answers from Him._

_*Good morning dearest one. Smile😊as you do your work and do have a magnificent day and blessed new week. May Jesus give you the grace to grow in your faith always. Amen. And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.*_

*Meditation:* Isaiah 65:17-21/Psalm 30:2-6,11-13/John 4:43-54

*Watch-Word:* Seek good, and not evil, that you may live.

*There is power in prayer, but if prayer will work for you, you must pray with faith and trust in God.*
