*A WORD FOR TODAY*

*MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE AND YOU WILL BE HAPPY

_I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live"(Deuterenomy 30:19)_

_*In life we are bound to make choices and sometimes the success or failure we record are specifically tied to the choices we have made. However if we are going to be happy as individuals in this world, we must be ready to make the right choice.*_

_In the first reading of today Moses reminded the people that the Lord has set before them, life and death, good and evil and that if they obey His commands, they will live and multiply and God will bless them._

_*This shows us that God gives us the freedom to make use of our freewill to make the choice of what we want in life. If we choose God by obeying His commands we shall live and prosper, but if we abandon Him and follow our own way, we shall fail and will be unhappy.*_

_For us to be able to make the right choice in life we must let God's Spirit guide us in all the decisions we make. We must not make choice simply to have pleasure, but we should make choices that will bring us good in the end, even if we have to suffer now._

_*This season of lent is a time to carry our crosses daily and follow Jesus. It is a time to practise self denial so as to make our soul to rise and shine out. We must obey God's commandments and live for Him. We must not let anything stop us from loving Him with all our heart.*_

_Your happiness in life is tied to the choice you make in life. Make the right choice and you will always have reasons to glorify the name of the Lord. Choose the way of the cross, because it is the way to life. Walk with Jesus always and do not let the things of this life distract you from focusing on the things of heaven which will bring blessings to your life._

_*Good morning dearest one. Smile😊 as you do your work and do have a beautiful day, may Jesus help you to choose Him above every other thing in earth. Amen. And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.*_
