A WORD FOR TODAY
BE HOPEFUL, KEEP DOING GOOD FOR YOUR REWARD WILL COME
_"For God is not so unjust as to overlook your work and the love which you showed for his sake in serving the saints, as you still do. And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness in realizing the full assurance of hope until the end."(Hebrews 6:10-11)_
_*Hope is the desire with confidence and expectation for something to happen in the future. Our hope in God is what sustains us to continue to do our best because God will always reward our good deeds on the last day.*_
_We believe in a God who is the maker of all things visible and invisible. He created us out of nothing, but has always been with us from the beginning and in Him we live, we move and have our being. He does not abandon us, but provides for us and He is ever faithful and keeps to His promise._
_*God has promised us eternal life and if we live well for Him here on earth, we shall be with Him in heaven on the last day. Our hope in God does not disappoint because God is God and not man. He will reward us abundantly for all the good we have done to others in His name.*_
_Just like Abraham patiently waited upon the Lord until he has received the promise of God. We must keep doing good and wait upon the Lord with hope. God will surely come to you and He will give you a wonderful reward. Do not give up even when things do not go as you have planned, keep believing in God and put your total trust in Him for He will never disappoint._
_*We must follow God always because He cannot deceive us but will give us what will be good for us. We must keep trusting in Him, because He keeps His covenant ever in mind.*_
_Remain hopeful always as you serve the Lord, keep doing good, because God will never overlook your good works. Help others as much as you can and never get tired of showing them the path that leads to life. Support others and serve God well in the Church and society. God is taking note of your good works in this life and He will give you eternal life as your reward in due time._
