*A WORD FOR TODAY*

*LIVE FOR THE LORD ALWAYS*

_"Now he is not God of the dead, but of the living; for all live to him. And some of the scribes answered, Teacher, you have spoken well. For they no longer dared to ask him any question."(Luke 29:38-40)_

_*There is no need to always try to make other people fall when you cannot achieve what they have achieved. We are encouraged to support others and learn from those who know better than us so as to improve ourselves.*_

_The Sadducees in the gospel reading of today tried to set a trap for Jesus so that they will find something to hold to dispute His authority and teachings. They denied that there is anything like the resurrection, but Jesus cleverly and with divine wisdom not only proved them wrong, but gave them evidence that the resurrection of the dead is not a fiction, but a fact that can be proven with solid scriptural backing._

_*This life will end some day, but when it is ended, for those who believe in Christ, they shall rise into a new life that will never end. We shall see God as He is and we shall live in His presence forever enjoying the beatific vision.*_

_If we live for the Lord here on earth, we shall rise to live with Him in heaven. Our God is the Lord of the living and not of the dead. To live for Him here on earth is the surest way to make heaven and to be with Him forever._

_*We must begin here on earth to prepare for life in heaven. Heaven is a place of joy and peace and unity and if we will be with God in heaven our life should ultimately reflect the person of Christ who is the way, the truth and the life.*_

_There is life after this life, but this life if it will be lived in God's presence, you must earn it through good deeds and exemplary behaviour. You must put God first and let His love move you to love others and when you die you will reunite with all the saints in heaven to praise the living God as children of the resurrection._

_*Good morning dearest one. Smile😊as you do your work and do have a splendid weekend. May Jesus give you the grace to live well for Him as always. Amen. And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.*_

*Meditation:* 1 Maccabees 6:1-13/Psalm 9:2-4,6,16,19/Luke 20:27-40

*Watch-Word:* I will rejoice in your salvation, O Lord.

_*Do not fail to live for Jesus here on earth, because that is your only ticket to be with Him in heaven.*_
