A WORD FOR TODAY

COME TO JESUS AND YOU WILL BE SATISFIED

_"And great crowds came to him, bringing with them the lame, the maimed, the blind, the dumb, and many others, and they put them at his feet, and he healed them."(Matthew 15:30)_

_*The love of the Lord for His people is something deep and only men and women of faith will be able to understand it well. God takes care of His children more than anyone else and He makes provision for them at all times.*_

_In the first reading of today the prophet Isaiah shows what God is planning for His people. He is preparing a banquet of rich food and fine wine for all people. This means that if we honour His invitation and come, we shall be satisfied and He will take care of our needs and worries and He will save us._

_*The Lord is coming to save us, but are we ready to meet Him. No one who seeks the Lord with a sincere heart will fail to find Him. The Lord is available to those who seek Him with all their heart and He will help them in their times of need.*_

_Just like Isaiah prophesied in the first reading, we see a manifestation and fulfilment of that prophecy in Christ as recorded in the gospel reading. Many people came to Jesus with their needs and they found help. He had compassion on them, he healed, fed and restored them all._

_*Come to Jesus today and you will never be disappointed, because He has your interest at heart and will provide for you so that you will have the satisfaction you need. Other gods will fail you, but Jesus' provision and care will be sufficient for you and you will have testimonies to share.*_
