*A WORD FOR TODAY*
*TALENT IS NOT ENOUGH, YOU MUST WORK HARD*
_"So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has the ten talents. For to every one who has will more be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away.(Matthew 25:28-29)_
_*We came into this world bearing God's Spirit and He has blessed us with every spiritual blessings from the heavenly places. We are in this life to honour Him with what He has given to us.*_
_The gospel reading of today presents us with the parable of the talents. The man gave talents to his servants and went on a journey and upon his return he called them to come and give an account of what they have done with what was given._
_*Those who made profit from what was given was commended and more talents were given to them, but the one who chose not to put his talent into any use was chastised by the master and what he has was taken away from him.*_
_We must put our gifts into use. We must not let them waste away. Time waits for no one, what you fail to use can expire and you will be the loser in the end. Therefore, keep working and keep doing what is good in God's name and you will be a winner in the end._
_*Talent is not enough, you must work hard to. Improve on what you have received. Some of the things we enjoy today had come through the sweat and sacrifices of others in the past, let us work hard now to leave a legacy and make an impact which others will enjoy when we are no more.*_
_God is the judge and we must give an account of our stewardship to Him in the end, therefore, do not waste anytime, hide no more, unleash yourself and talent and keep making gains so that when the master returns, you will give an account filled with greater good you have achieved and your reward will be immense and satisfying._
_*Good morning dearest one. Smile😊as you do your work and do have a great day. May Jesus give you the grace to make use of what you have been given. Amen. And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.*_
*Meditation:* 1 Thessalonians 4:9-11/Psalm 98:1,7-9/Matthew 25:14-30
*Watch-Word:* The Lord comes to judge the peoples with fairness
_*Work hard with your hands, be productive, love more and your light will shine brightly in this life and you will be happy in the end.*_
