*A WORD FOR TODAY*

*CHRIST IS BORN FOR US, LET US REJOICE AND BE GLAD*

_"And while they were there, the time came for her to be delivered. And she gave birth to her first-born son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn." (Luke 2:6-7)_

*TODAY, THE WORLD STANDS STILL.*

_*Today, the whole world stands still to remember an action of God that happened several many years ago which changed the history of humanity. It is a true story about the gift of love that came from God the creator to His creatures.*_

*THE WAITING IS OVER*

_We have waited for this day to come and we have been preparing through the season of Advent. Today is the day and we must be joyful for we celebrate the Solemnity of the nativity of the Lord. It is a day we remember that Christ who is divine, came to take our human nature and was born by the Blessed Virgin Mary. He is a king and a saviour, and He will bring us redemption and deliverance from the grip of sin, darkness and death. His name is Emmanuel, which means, God is with us and by His name shall we find salvation._

*CHRISTMAS IS SIMPLY LOVE IN PERFECTION*

_*The prophecy of Isaiah reminds us of where we are before the birth of Christ. We were deep in sin and unfaithfulness to God through disobedience to His laws. But God sent His only Son born of the virgin to come and take our human form in order to reconcile us with Him. This is simply love in perfection and we can never truly understand the mystery there in.*_

*JESUS IS THE LIGHT*

_The child that is born for us is the light of the world and whoever follows Him will not walk in darkness. His light radiates brightly from all those who are loyal to His kingship and majesty._

*HE IS SIMPLICITY AND HUMILITY*

_*Jesus was great and mighty and of the same equality with God the Father, but He was born in a manger where there was nothing to keep Him warm except the love of His parents and the companionship of the animals, just teaching us the way of humility and simplicity.*_

*HE IS THE GREATEST*

_All authority will be upon His shoulder and He is the wonderful counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, prince of peace. He is the word made flesh which dwells among us. He is the greatest and will reign forever._

*HE IS A JOY GIVER*

_*The heavens and the earth rejoiced at His birth and His birth made kings to shake, shiver and troubled in their hearts. The shepherds heard the great news and their hearts were filled with joy. We must be joyful and give praise to God for this gift and also go out to announce Him to everyone we meet.*_

*LET CHRIST BE BORN IN YOUR HEART*

_We must open our heart and let Christ be truly born in us so that we can become channels of healing, restoration, joy, peace, guidance, light, upliftment, compassion and love for everyone in the world. With joy we must go out and share the Good news of Christ birth everywhere._

_*Good morning dearest one. Smile😊as you begin this day and do have a beautiful and joyful Christmas. May the birth of Christ mark the beginning of a new and positive story in your life. Amen. And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.*_

*Jesus is born for us. We must follow Him and we must let His light be our guide.*
