*A WORD FOR TODAY*

*GOD CAN MAKE USE OF YOU TOO, IF YOU SAY YES.

_"And Mary said, Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word. And the angel departed from her.(Luke 1:38)_

_*Today the universal Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord. It is a feast that reminds us the coming of the angel Gabriel to announce to the Blessed Virgin Mary that she was going to be the Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world.*_

_It is a celebration of the beginning of what will become the best thing that ever happened to humanity, that is, God the Son coming to take flesh in the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary._

_*In the first reading from the prophecy of Isaiah we see how God promised that a virgin will conceive a bear a Son and His name will be called Emmanuel. This prophecy will come to be fulfilled when the Angel Gabriel announced the Good News to the Blessed Virgin Mary. She was the virgin whom the Lord chose and she found favour with the Lord and was full of grace.*_

_God does not make a mistake. He chooses who He wants to achieve what He wants. He chose Mary and she said yes to Him and that gave her the opportunity to play a beautiful role of being the Mother of Jesus in our salvation history._

_*Our Mother Mary has become an example for us and if we learn from her, we shall always make ourselves available to be used by God. We can say yes to God and He will take care of us and make us channels of blessings in this life. God owns us and can make use of us at anytime He pleases. All we need to do is to submit our will to Him and let His will be done as He did in the life of the Blessed Mother.*_

_We have a role to play in this life for God. We are called to be channels of Joy, peace, love, mercy, generousity, gratitude, patience, holiness, graciousness, inspiration and positive impacts. We can be this and so much more if we say yes to God and let Him make use of us. Place yourself in God's hand today and see what He will achieve with you._

_*Jesus Christ did the will of the Father and Our Blessed Mother did the will of God, we can do God's will and we will be blessed in this life and in the life to come. Just say yes to God now and become a vessel of honor and transformation in our world.*_

_Good morning dearest one. Smile😊as you do your work and do have a magnificent day. May the Blessed Mother obtain for you the grace to always let God's will be done in your life. Amen. *And May the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.*_

*Whatever God says He will do, He will surely do. Therefore, if He wants to make use of you, simply say yes and leave the rest to Him.*
