A WORD FOR TODAY

LOVE WITHOUT BOUNDS

_"And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.” And he said to him, “You have answered right; do this, and you will live.”(Luke 10:27-28)_

The best way to describe God is just to say that God is love. This is very true, because in Him we see the true meaning of love which is so different from what we see among us as His children.

_God's love has no boundary. He loves all with the same love and that is why when we look at the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross we see God's love in action. He did not die for some, but for all and He continues to save anyone who calls upon Him irrespective of tribe, colour of skin, language and ethnic background._

Our love for others should know no bounds. We must love God with all our heart and also love our neighbours as we love ourselves. The story in the gospel reading explains this in a better way. Whenever you pick and choose those you wish to show love to, you will begin to discriminate and you will never be like Jesus who gave His life for all.

Any true and sacrificial love must be ready to do something practical to save a soul or help someone who is in need. True love is not expressed in words only, but more importantly it is shown when the words are concretely backed up with actions._

_*Who is your neighbour? He or she is that person who is in need and so long as you have what you can use to offer a little assistance, do it without consideration of who the person is and where he comes from and God who sees what you have done will reward you.*_

_The gospel of Christ is one and it is the truth. When you keep it and do what it says you will be blessed, but if you abandon it and start to teach something contrary, it will bring you condemnation. This is the warning that saint Paul gives us in the first reading of today. Therefore, love God's word and do what it commands you._

_*Good morning dearest one. Smile😊as you do your work and do havd a magnificent day and blessed new week. Love without bounds and you will be like Jesus. And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.*_

*Meditation:* Galatians 1:6-12/Psalm 111:1-2,7-10/Luke 10:25-37

*Watch-Word:* A new commandment I give to you, says the Lord, that you love one another, even as I have loved you.

*Loving without bounds is the best way to find joy in this life and eternal happiness in heaven.*
