*A WORD FOR TODAY*

*TOUCH THE LORD WITH YOUR FAITH AND YOU WILL BE HEALED*

_"And wherever he came, in villages, cities, or country, they laid the sick in the market places, and besought him that they might touch even the fringe of his garment; and as many as touched it were made well.(Mark 6:56)_

_*Going through the creation account in the first reading of today, one thing stands out and that is the fact that God made all things and He saw that it was good.*_

_He gave man all that he needed to be happy in this life and to be satisfied. However, we know that man failed to live up to God's expectations and he sinned against God and death entered and we started experiencing different kinds of troubles._

_*In the gospel we see Jesus bring healing to all those who are sick and troubled. All who touched the fringe of His garments were healed. With faith they touched Him and they were restored.*_

_Through sin and disobedience we destroyed the good relationship we have with God, but if we come back and repent of our sins we shall be made well again._

_*We must strive everyday to be part of those who work to make the world a better place. We must sustain the goodness of the world which the Lord saw when He created it.*_

_There is no way you can fix the broken world or fix broken people, if you do not first go and fix your broken life. We have all been wounded in different ways, but we have Jesus as our healer. We must come to Him and touch Him with faith and we shall be healed and restored. He will fix us and we will now have the capacity to fix others._

*Jesus is our source of healing and restoration. Come to Him today and you will be made well.*
