*A WORD FOR TODAY*
*FIX YOUR HEART ON GOD AND SERVE HIM ALONE*
_"No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”(Luke 16:13)_
_*When you make the choice to serve God, you must make your heart to be on Him alone. You must never allow it to be swayed to other gods or to focus on the pursuit of money and abandon the true God.*_
_*Jesus reminds us in the gospel reading of today that we cannot serve two masters at the same time. It is either we love one and hate the other or be devoted to one and despise the other. This is very true and if we choose Him, our loyalty must be total and undiluted._
_*We are called to be faithful and if we remain faithful in little things, then greater things will be put in our charge, but if we are dishonest in little things especially unrighteous mammon, it will be very difficult for us to be entrusted with a higher responsibility and the true riches of the kingdom.*_
_We must fix our heart on God at all times and serve Him alone. We must not let the things of this life distract us or take a special place in our heart. Money, positions, status, career and other material pursuit must not come first before our love for God. We must love God and be ready to die for Him._
_*When our desire to acquire wealth takes precedence over and above our love for God and neighbour, it definitely shows that something is wrong. Today, many people have sold their heart to the devil because of money. We must not let that happen to us. Choose God above created things and you will be happy in this life and in the world to come.*_
_Good morning dearest one. Smile😊as you do your work and do have a blessed day. May Jesus give you the grace to serve Him well here on earth with all your heart. Amen. *And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.*_
*Meditation:* Romans 16:3-9,16,22-27/Psalm 145:25,10-11/Luke 16:9-15
*Watch-Word:* I will bless your name for ever, my king and my God.
_*God should be our number one priority and everyother thing can come later.*_
