*A WORD FOR TODAY*
*JESUS OUR HEALER CAN HELP YOU*
_"Now when the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to him; and he laid his hands on every one of them and healed them"(Luke 4:40)_
_*The greatest mistake we can make in life is to think that the Jesus we hear about in the Scriptures is no longer doing the things He did in the past in our own time.*_
_Sometimes, because of the challenges we pass through, we tend to lose hope and no longer believe in the living God who is merciful and can help us. Our trust level is diminished and our faith is broken or non existent._
_*We must be revived by the message of the gospel reading of today. Jesus healed Simon's mother-in-law and at sunset, the people hearing what he had done, brought to Him all those who are sick and possessed and He healed them all and cast out demons.*_
_The demonstration of God's power was in action in the scenario. Jesus restored them and made them happy. The people recognized that He is the Son of the living God and they came to Him and sought His help._
_*We must strive to recognize Jesus with faith and then come to Him with all our needs, troubles, trials, pains, challenges, sickness, afflictions and distress. He will help us and we shall glorify Him.*_
_Jesus also teaches us to keep working and doing good, but also to spend some quality time alone with God in prayer where we shall renew our strength and revive our spirit. Create time from your busy schedule to be with Jesus in a private moment where you will pour out your heart to Him and be encouraged by His love, mercy and help._
_*Good morning dearest one. Smile😊as you do your work and do have a wonderful day. May Jesus heal you from all your troubles. Amen. And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.*_
*Meditation:* Colossians 1:1-8/Psalm 52:10,11/Luke 4:38-44
*Watch-Word:* I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever
*Do not stop believing in God, His help is ever ready for those who put their trust in Him.*
