A WORD FOR TODAY 8 FEBRUARY 2021

A WORD FOR TODAY*

*GOD MADE ALL THINGS GOOD*

_"And God said, Let there be light; and there was light. And God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night"(Genesis 1:5)_

_*As we start to read from the book of Genesis we see how it all started, how our world came to be. It is a passage in the Scripture that explains the origin of things in this life. It specifically tells us that God the creator made all things and after He created, He saw that all He made was good.*_

_God created the light and separated it from darkness, He made the stars and the moon and all the creatures of the earth. He created the earth and its vegetations. There was order in creation, because God is perfect and He knows all things._

_*God made all things good, but in the course of time evil entered into the world through the disobedience of man and suffering, pain and sickness came with it. Sin entered the world and we started dying.*_

_However, God did not allow us to perish, but sent His Son our Lord Jesus Christ to come and bring us healing and reconciliation through His suffering and death on the cross of Calvary._

_*We see in the gospel reading how the people recognized Him as He entered their community and they wasted no time bring all those in need of healing to be touched by Him. They had faith that He will restore them and indeed He did made them well again.*_

_Through our sin and disobedience we made a mess of our world, but God has sent His Son to fix what we have destroyed and to bring us back to God. In Christ we are now a new creation, old things have passed away and the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17)_

_*We must constantly seek to come to Jesus so that He will help us to get better and be well again. Sin brings sickness of the heart and soul, but in Jesus we find our healing. We must search for Him so that He will touch us and make us well in order for us to fulfill God's plan in this life as His creatures.*_

_Good morning dearest one. Smile😊as you do your work and do have a beautiful day, may Jesus bring you the healing you need to be fruitful for the Lord. Amen. *And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.. Amen.*_

*Meditation:* Genesis 1:1-19/Psalm 104:1-2,5-6,10,12,24,35/Mark 6:53-56

*Watch-Word:* And God saw that it was good.

*We are made good by the Lord and we must stay focused so that we will continue to be good to bring glory to His name.*
