A WORD FOR TODAY

Jacob in the first reading of today encountered and experienced God's glory and he was moved to pray to God and ask Him to lead him on his journey and provide for him. God has already promised to be with him and to bless him. Bethel will become the house of God and a place of prayer for Jacob.

We should also have a place of encounter in our lives where we go to have a wonderful time with God and encounter His glory. For this to happen we must create an atmosphere of silence that will help us to discover when the Lord is speaking to us and what He wants us to do.

No one who truly encounters God will ever remain the same, because God is the Almighty and His glory fills the heaven and the earth. He can do all things and whatever He says he will do, that he must surely do.

We see two beautiful experiences of faith that produced the healing miracle of Jesus. The ruler humbled himself before Jesus and sought His help for his daughter with faith and that encounter made the impossible possible. The daughter who was dead before He arrived, was brought back to life by Jesus.

The woman with the issue of blood also was moved by faith to seek the help of Jesus, infact she only touched the fringe of His garment and power came out of Him and healed the woman.

Where is your faith? You cannot please God without faith. Faith is a necessary condition for any miracle to happen. God is readily available to be encountered, but are you ready for Him? Now is the time to raise your faith level and begin to experience the blessedness of the children of God

The power of God is supreme and always with us, but if we do not take a leap of faith and seek Him we may not be able to find Him. What is that situation you are facing at the moment? Never give up, but come to Jesus with faith and He will turn things around for you.

Come to God with faith and you will receive the blessings that you seek. Faith makes miracle possible.
