A WORD FOR TODAY

IF YOU ARE FOR GOD, LIVE FOR HIM

_"But he, knowing their thoughts, said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and house falls upon house."(Luke 11:17)_

_*Sometimes in life, we cast aspersions on others simply because we are jealous of their success and what they have achieved and seeing no other way to get at them, we resort to detracting their name and integrity.*_

_This is what Jesus suffered in the hands of the people as we have recorded in the gospel reading of today. Since they could not find a way to deal with His fame and the things He is doing to win souls, they now accused Him of casting out demons with the power of Beelzebul the prince of demons and others sought signs from him, just to test Him._

_*These accusations did not stop Jesus from doing what He was doing. Infact, it moved Him to continue to do greater things and to be setting the captives free. This was His mission, and what the people say could not stop Him from doing good.*_

_We could receive the same treatment from people if we decide to stay on the side of God and do what is good. The world will hate us, because we profess the name of Christ, but what they say should not pressure us to abandon God's way and follow their standard._

_*If you are for God and you profess your allegiance for Him, then you must live for Him. Strive to make your heart a place where He dwells and do not give room for the devil to take hold of you and use you to attack others who are doing better than you. Support those who are doing well and keep winning souls for God and never let the evil one distract you from your mission or use you to distract others from their work too.*_

_Good morning dearest one. smile😊as you do your work and do have a wonderful day. May God help you to stay focused on your mission. Amen. *And may the Almighty God bless you: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.*_

*Meditation:* Galatians 3:7-14/Psalm 111:1-6/Luke 11:15-26

*Watch-Word:* The Lord keeps His Covenant ever in mind.

*When you profess the name of the Lord in truth and in Spirit, do not worry about what people will say and do to distract you. Keep living for Him.*
